Our practice incorporates real business experience with legal knowledge and expertise through its principal, Peter Anthony Johnson. Our clients benefit from this dual perspective approach by gaining a range of advantages, from strategic legal positioning in negotiations to drafting creative, but enforceable contractual provisions.

     We truly identify with the entrepreneur, as most of Mr. Johnson’s business experience is the result of new venture development. Past business endeavors include the creation of a number of enterprises, including an international marine manufacturing, marketing and distribution corporation, which he founded and operated as President during the mid-90s. Following that project, he was the principal in the redevelopment plan of an art deco hotel in Miami Beach, Florida.

     Mr. Johnson advised clients in the capacity of a new venture consultant prior to realizing his legal passion, having authored a number of business plans which generated capital and resulted in successful enterprises.

Mario A. Sullivan, Esquire

Mario A. Sullivan is an associate attorney with our firm. He counsels clients on a wide range of issues relating to real estate, evictions, business formation, and estate planning. Mr. Sullivan is a member of the Chicago Bar Association (CBA), the Illinois State Bar Association, and the American Bar Association (ABA). In addition, he is a member of the National Lesbian and Gay Law Association and the American Constitution Society.

Mr. Sullivan serves as Vice-Chair on the CBA Committee on the Legal Rights of Lesbians and Gay Men, Liaison to the ABA Young Lawyers Division for the National Lesbian and Gay Law Association, Co-Chair of the Programming and Outreach Committee for the American Constitution Society, Chicago Lawyer Chapter, and Co-Chair for the Equality Illinois 2006 Gala Corporate Committee.

Mr. Sullivan graduated from the Illinois State University in 2000 and obtained his J.D. from The John Marshall Law School in 2005. Mr. Sullivan is a member of the Illinois bar.

Akilah S. Brown, Legal Assistant

Akilah joined our firm in September, 2006. She assists with many types of matters, including real estate, landlord-tenant issues, and corporation/LLC formation. Akilah is also a high school cheerleading coach.

Krystle Lamprecht, Legal Assistant

Krystle has been a legal assistant at our firm since May, 2005. She is currently working part time while attending Northwestern University School of Law.

Krystle graduated in May 2005 from Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, Illinois with a B.S. in Technical Communication, a concentration in Web Design and Management, and a minor in Database Administration.
